Something to read this week: John Henry Newman and Synthetic Thinking, at Karen Glass’s website. The post is partly about Cardinal Newman, and partly about the book Habits of the Mind: Intellectual Life as a Christian Calling, by James W. Sire. (Karen even mentions that a phrase of Sire’s made her think of Minds More Awake.)
